I spent my formative years in Warwickshire but moved to Cornwall and ultimately the South Hams in Devon a number of years ago.  Although studying art and design at school I was not fortunate in extending this more formally at college, but gained further experience through nationally run wokshops and courses.

Inspiration has constantly been drawn from the dramatic surroundings of Cornwall and Devon, the moors and the rugged coastline of both counties giving influence to all aspects of my work.

With recent restrictions during the Covid Pandemic and the plethora of time for inquistive play I have been drawn towards many different forms of art and have acquired several new genres to add and compliment already tried and tested practices.

I am a member of SHAF (South Hams Art Forum), Westcountry Embroiderers & Textilers (Totnes) and belong to the local art group, KASHAC (Kingsbridge & South Hams Art Club).

In recent years I have exhibited numerous times at Harbour House in Kingsbridge, SHAF Arts Trail, National Trust's Saltram House and Lanhydrock House, and also at the County Shows of Cornwall, Devon and the New Forest.
