I spent my formative years in Warwickshire but moved to Cornwall and ultimately the South Hams in Devon a number of years ago.  Although studying art and design at school I was not fortunate in extending this more formally at college, but gained further experience through nationally run wokshops and courses.

Inspiration has constantly been drawn from the dramatic surroundings of Cornwall and Devon, the moors and the rugged coastline of both counties giving influence to all aspects of my work.

With restrictions during the Covid Pandemic and the plethora of time for inquistive play I was drawn towards many different forms of art and during that period acquired several new genres to add and compliment already tried and tested practices.

I am a member of SHAF (South Hams Art Forum), Creative Textiles at Totnes and belong to the local art group, KASHAC (Kingsbridge & South Hams Art Club).

In recent years I have exhibited numerous times at Harbour House in Kingsbridge, SHAF Arts Trail, National Trust's Saltram House and Lanhydrock House, and also at the County Shows of Cornwall, Devon and the New Forest.  In 2022, I was delighted to exhibit under SHAF's umbrella at the Bovey Tracey Craft Festival.

Last year my work was displayed at the prestigeous Delamore Arts Exhibition (Cornwood) during May and also at Buckfast Abbey's ArtEx 2023 exhibition run by the charitable organisation of Ashburton/Buckfastleigh Rotary Club during late July/early August.

Several of my artworks can be viewed at the Cider Press Gallery in Dartington, near Totnes - open daily.

Group workshops are available in Weaving, The Vegetable Patch, and needle-felted pictures using organza and dyed silk waste.  If you would like to find out more, please use the Contact Form.
