NEEDLE FELTING

A combination of organza, wool roving and scrim are needle felted and further defined by both machine and hand embroidery.  A sprinkling of seed beads add the final touch to these colourful scenes.

Sizes range from 60cm square down to 15cm square. Each picture is double mounted and comes in either a black or natural frame.  An example of black framing can be viewed on the WEAVING page.

WET FELTING

Wet felting is a completely different method to that of dry/needle felting.

This process uses soap, warm water and by agitating back and forth, the fibres are tangled and matted together to create the felt.
